First of all Kyiv is a very beautiful city 2. Life in a city is more comfortable: • We’ve got very good flats Comfortable bedrooms Modern kitchens big bathrooms 3. Children living in a city can get better education than children in a village: there’re a lot of schools There’re many universities Loads of libraries 4. A city is more modern than a village: in a city internet is better than in a village; A lot of city transports, so it’s easier to get to school, to work… 5. There‘re more entertainments in a city than in a village • You can find a lot of theatres, cinemas, The circus concert halls, museums, the zoo… - big shopping centers - sport grounds, play grounds, parks 6. There isn’t enough fresh air in a city because of toxic gases from factories There a lot of transports in the streets It’s not enough fresh water 2. Our cities are too polluted 3. There're too many people in a city and it’s too noisy There’re lots of crimes in a city Advantages of a village life 1. People live in a private houses or cottages with gardens 2. People in a village have got fresh air, clean water, beautiful nature 3. Less people live in a village: so they more friendly, there’re less crimes 4. There is less pollution, so people have got much more healthy life in a village There is a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables Disadvantages of living in a village 1. A village is not so modern and comfortable as a city: there’re bad roads Houses in a village haven’t got centralized heating so it’s cold in winter - and what is the worst: some villages haven’t got internet at all! 2. Worse education: only one school. Many Ukrainian villages haven’t got any schools at all 3. People here hard work in the fields or gardens 4. There’s worse medical service in a village than in a city 5. There’re less entertainments in a village, so we prefer to live in a village that isn’t far from a city But don’t forget: There's no place like home!
