A Character’s Character A test of character is how a person reacts to a challenge. Some have stood up for their beliefs no matter what the situation. Re-read the story entitled, “The Wise Old Woman” on pages 5 -12 in your Holt literature book. Focus on the bravery the author uses to convey the tone and mood of the story. Create a text-dependent comic strip of your interpretation of the old woman including three examples of bravery from the story. Follow the directions given on the website to customize your characters, setting, …etc. Make sure to convey the main idea of the story in your interpretive comic strip.
