Purpose of My Role • Communication with team – meeting times and agenda – reminders for data – coaching • Building administration • provide monthly data updates – tracking tool • problem solve for resources • District MTSS building administration • Bring training back to staff interested in being a facilitator
Implementation Teams & Data • Must develop a strong implementation team – Reach out to teachers – Ask for representatives from different departments • Team should develop data points. – Same data points compared monthly & yearly • Monthly data- responding data – Behavior, attendance, grades and RENEW process – • • compared to previous year/ month – Automatic email sent to facilitators to remind them to pull student’s data Semester data – behavior (office referrals and suspensions), attendance (excused and unexcused) and grades Invite administration to be part of your team
Relationships & Communication • Why? – Larger implementation team – Spread a positive word • Establish good rapport with staff in the building – Answer questions with honesty – Follow through – Clear communication With team members – Agenda and minutes for implementation meetings – All team emails Communication to staff – What information they need to know – When – at staff meetings or monthly MTSS newsletter – Share data • •
