9 th Annual Thursday Mixed Golf Goof Tournament Rules and Stuff – April 27,

9 th Annual Thursday Mixed Golf Goof Tournament Rules and Stuff – April 27, 2013 The format of the tournament is a Four Person scramble. All players in each foursome will hit from the tee box (Men play from the Blue Tees, Women play from the Red Tees). The team will pick the best of the four shots and all players will hit from that spot. This will continue until the ball is holed out. Each hole has a Tee Box theme, and a Green theme to keep it fun. Below are the contests and Goof Stuff for each of the holes. !!IMPORTANT!! Everyone gets a water bottle, a gift bag (pink for ladies, blue for the men). You have 7 holes to drink the water, the empty water bottle will be used on the 8 th tee box. The yellow balls in the gift bags will be used on the 5 th hole, and the dice will be used on holes #2 and #9. ---------------------------------------------Hole 1 Tee – Heckle Me Tee & Closest to Pin – Anyone around the tee box can heckle the person teeing off. Laughter on the downswing is a destructive thing. Contest hole: closest to pin men and women on this hole. Hole 1 Green – In The Crapper – There is a toilet seat around the hole with an opening in the front. Leave yourself short for a straight in putt, or try and chip it over the rim of the seat if you are feeling chipper. Hole 2 Tee – Whose Shot? Dice - Everyone tees off as normal on this hole, however for each stroke, you will roll the dice on the floor of a golf cart, and the result will determine which shot you must play. 1 means you play the 1 st golfer in your foursome’s ball, 2 for the 2 nd, 3 for the 3 rd, 4 for the 4 th, 5 you play the shortest shot, and 6 you get to choose which of the shots to play. Repeat this until you reach the green. Hole 2 Green – Tiny Tim Putt – There is a crutch on the back of the green on this hole. Once you reach the green, all putts must be made with this crutch. Good luck on this hole, break a leg! Hole 3 Tee – Stewie Griffin Long Drive Hole – There will be a pair of drivers on the WHITE tee box of this hole, 1 lefty, and 1 righty. Everyone must tee off on this hole with the baby drivers from the WHITE tees. Hole 3 Green – Baby Putt – There will be a baby sized putter on the back edge of the green. Once on the green, this putter must be used to putt out. Hole 4 Tee – Javale Mc. Tee – The tee shots will be hit from the WHITE tees on this hole (men and women both) while standing on the stepstool.

Hole 4 Green – Minnesota Fatty Putz – There will be a pool cue

Hole 4 Green – Minnesota Fatty Putz – There will be a pool cue on the back edge of the green. Once your ball reaches the green, the pool cue must be used striking the ball with the TIP end to “putt” out, no fair using your butt end or the butt end of the pool cue! Hole 5 Tee – Jupiter Tee Shot – This is what it would be like to tee off on Jupiter The yellow ball in your gift bag is an extremely restricted flight golf ball. Each player must use that yellow ball on this hole. . It may look like a short par-3, but it may play a little longer… These yellow balls must be used for the entire 5 th hole until the ball is holed. Contest: This is a closet to pin (Men’s and Women’s) hole, unless no one hits the green then it will be a longest drive hole. If you make it on the green off the tee, move the contest marker to the green. Hole 5 Green – Happy Gilmore Green – There will be a hockey stick on the back edge of the green. Once the ball reaches the green, the hockey stick must be used to putt out… Hole 6 Tee – Blind Mans Bluff - There will be a pair of black-out goggles, one pair on each tee box. Tee shots will be hit on this hole wearing a pair of the blindfold goggles (no peeking). This way you wont have to worry about the water down the right side of the fairway. out of sight, out of mind Hole 6 Green – Longest Wicket Putt – Contest: Longest made putt from the green on this hole wins. The trick is, the ball must travel between your legs after you strike the ball with the putter. From your putting stance, you must strike the ball, have it travel between your legs, and then into the hole. Should be interesting to see what some of you come up with for techniques here Hole 7 Tee – Wrong Way Drive - You must tee off opposite handed. If you are right handed, you must go lefty…if you are a lefty, you gotta go righty. There will be a bag of clubs on the tee box with various clubs to choose from, or you can borrow one from someone in your foursome. Hole 7 Green – Wrong Way Putt – Just the second part of this wrong-way hole. There will be a pair of putters on the back edge of the green (1 lefty and 1 righty). You must use one of these putters, or a putter from someone else in the foursome to putt opposite-handed on this green. Hole 8 Tee – Water Bottle Tee Shot - You must tee off with your ball on top of the water bottle you are given on the 1 st tee box. Hopefully you drank the water by now Contest: Longest Drive in the fairway wins this contest hole. Hole 8 Green – Plumber’s Crack Putt – There will be a copper pipe plumber’s putter on the green. Once the ball reaches the green, this putter must be used for all putts. Hole 9 – Roll Your Own – Each golfer will roll the dice, on the floor of a golf cart at the tee box, and the result will determine what ONE club that golfer will use for the entire hole, tee shot through putting out. 1=Driver, 2=Fairway Wood, 3=4/5 iron or hybrid, , 4=7/8 iron, 5 = Wedge, 6 = Putter. Need to play this hole as a team, and hope all didn’t roll a 6.
