Responsibilities for the Security Shift Report Security officers are responsible for completing accurate, legible and timely Security Shift Reports (form 0880). The general manager and those he or she delegates are responsible for reviewing Security Shift Reports daily and for following up those reports as needed. Procedures for Preparing the Security Shift Report The Hotel security officer completes a written Security Shift Report using the form on the following page for each shift worked. Writing clearly, include the following information: v the starting time of your shift, v the form page number, v the day of week, v the date of your shift, v the time of each security action, v the description of each action, v the end time of his or her shift, and v your signature.
