8 th Grade Presentation Cameron Schulze
September Reflection • What I worked on in September was what I was going to write that month it started out with super natural in a way, I tried to push through it as I didn’t know what to write and I use to tell my mentor I had “writers block”. In witch she told me I just didn’t plan well.
October Reflection • This month I worked on my spelling errors and my grammar. Because I wasn’t so well on what I was doing. We had to work a little on my first chapter as well because I didn’t do well. I didn’t make since at all.
November Reflection • This month I guess I worked on character build up? I worked on how they would act look and feel. I worked on how my main character would look. She wanted me to lower down on my charters because I had a little to much.
December Reflections • This month I worked on more grammar and more of my characters I wasn’t sure how I felt about my book at this point because I wasn’t really going for my goal I felt like I was failing because I had no clue what I was aiming for.
January Reflections • So I guess they say a new year is a new year. I started on a new book! My mentor aka Mrs. Vanni helped me start on it. She said it was planned out better and she can understand what's going on. She also said that she likes it way better then my other book.
February Reflections • This month I worked on my charter build up. It was easier for me to understand feelings towards them. I can also reflect my life on my charter to build up her story. It was easy for me to plan for this as well because I knew my goal I was aiming for.
March Reflections • This month I worked on how I was going to end my story. Since I didn’t get to finish writing it all I had to end it at a good point, but I was not finish writing I had more stuff to add in there before be continue was put on there.
April Reflections • In this month I worked a little on my story not very much. I felt like I added plenty of things in there to end it where I want it. I made a book cover its wasn’t finish yet because I had to add a lot of details onto it. Me and my mentor stopped meeting this month as well, because she thought I was heading in the right path and didn’t really need guiding.
May Reflections • This month I worked on my last stuff I needed to work on. I started stuff for 8 th grade project night. I feel pretty good about myself. I got everything done and on my poster bored and I feel like the 8 th grade night is going to go very well.
