SUCCESSES OF Ø Has succeeded to involve land reclamation cooperate with local authorities and other agencies. Ø Co-operation with Latvia in the border of the rivers to solve problems. Ø Developed public ditches priority setting methodologies.

State rivers maintenance works funding RDP 2014 -2020 measure Ø Submitted 17 applications on the ditch innovative work, a total of 117. 7 km Ø 16 the trench Innovative Work has begun Ø Design work started in 12 of the ditch 126 km
Land improvement plan for 2015 -2021 Today, updated land improvement plans. The focus is to improve of the rivers maintained by the state. The main changes: Ø Ø Updating spatial shapes; Specification of the volumes of the maintenance work; maintenance work prioritizing under the new ranking; Updating of the rivers the ecological condition / potential on the basis of water management plan.
