歡迎參加 7年級研學團說明會 Welcome to the Victoria Shanghai Academy CAS Week Trips Fair Y 7 27 September 2018
研學的意義 Why trips? In line with the IB mission statement, CAS Week Trips are designed to help “develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. ” VSA is a committed partner in this quest for students in our care
研學目標 Objectives ● To broaden students’ horizons by developing an understanding of a culture other than their own ● To develop a sense of responsibility to the community and convey the fulfillment of giving service to others through Community & Service and CAS ● To provide opportunities for students to develop their learning in a real world context ● To challenge students and enable them to achieve their personal best
什麼是學習 What is learning? Learning is the capacity to consciously modify understandings and beliefs in the presence of knowledge and experience over time. Richard Elmore

This link will not be active until 4. 00 pm. Sign up can only be done using STUDENTS email login.
要點 Registration points to note ● Registration MUST be completed using student accounts otherwise registration will not be successful ● Select the trips carefully. It will not be possible to change once the trip is selected unless there are exceptional circumstances. ● Students sign up for 4 choices by preference i. e. 1 st, 2 nd, 3 rd and 4 th choice in order of preference.
攜友同行 Signing-up with a FRIEND ● Students may choose ONE friend who they wish to sign up with for a same-age group trip, in our case, a Y 7 student ● The correct name and Student ID of the friend must be given, and both friends must sign up for EXACTLY THE SAME TRIPS, and in the SAME ORDER of preference. Failure to submit identical applications will result in the applications being accepted as solo registrations. ● Registration is no longer on a first come, first served basis, however the submission time will be considered in any tie-break decision. ● If registering with a friend, the submission time of the second submission will be the time considered
如何報名 How to register The registration system has been successfully tested on the following Internet browsers – ● Firefox ● Safari ● Chrome The system does not support Internet Explorer. Please use another browser
I understand that in order to be placed on the trip with my partner, our choices are required to be the same and all information entered into the system are correct.
I understand that I might not be assigned my first choice and may be placed in one of my other choices. As a result, I have selected all of my choices carefully.
報名確認 Registration confirmation You will only be able to register for trips in your year level!! While we endeavour to enable students to have their 1 st choice this is not always possible. An acknowledgement of Y 7 -11 trips, with the final trip cost, will be emailed out by 26 th October 2018.
價格預估 Cost Estimation ● We have created a cost estimation range for all trips as usual. ● We have gone to the highest upper range based on top level costs. ● We are hoping that there could be some reduction once bookings are confirmed. ● There are many variables that affect the final cost e. g numbers
如何支付 How to pay Y 7 -11 parents are required to make payment online between 5 th November and 16 th November 2018. Please note that late payments will not be accepted. Year 7 -11 students who have not paid by 16 th November 2018 will be withdrawn to remain in the Hong Kong programme.
