The purpose of shampooing is to cleanse the scalp and hair by removing dirt, oils and product buildup. Improper cleansing can lead to accumulation of oil and dirt and cause scalp disorders. Massage: scientific method of manipulating the body by rubbing, pinching, tapping, kneading or stroking with the hands, fingers or an instrument.
