CULTURAL/INSTITUTIONAL DISTANCES AND FOREIGN ENTRY LOCATIONS Cultural distance difference between two cultures along identifiable dimensions. Ex: individualism. Institutional distance – the extent of similarity or dissimilarity between regulatory, normative and cognitive institutions of two countries.
