Please refer to pages SH 24 - SH 25 in our text, your notes, our class website, and powerpoint for content information. Provide a source reference at the bottom of your poster. In small groups of three, students will examine and discuss one of the five themes of geography, and collectively create a poster that explains their theme. Posters will then be used to share and explain each group’s respective theme to the rest of the class. This "jig-saw" activity will encourage peer to peer interaction, and refine students' speaking and listening skills. Posters will be displayed in class as part of a Gallery Walk. Students are encouraged to take notes as they peruse each poster.
