Olivia The best part about 5 th grade is definitely the teachers. Don’t be nervous to meet Ms. Emmerich and Mrs. Murnik. They are both very nice and will always support you. My advice would be about AR. AR is due at the end of each month so my advice is to get it done early.

Jack What I would say about 5 th Grade, is that it is an opportunity to have so much fun, but it comes at a cost. In order to have fun, like working on cool, fun projects, posting creations on youtube, and reading wonderful novels like Frindle and Wonder, you also need to complete schoolwork and homework in order to have fun. Ben Be ready to have math homework every day but 5 th grade is fun because you are able to go in the science lab and do different fun things also the teachers are really nice. And make sure to get you homework done early. Have Fun !

Annie The friends are my most important part of 5 th grade because they support you or remind you to bring stuff if you forgot and you get to talk to your friends will we are switching. Some things you might want to know are: 1. Charge chromebook 2. Get AR on time 3. Study for tests 4. Listen carefully This is the top things you need to know. Also the kingdom project was my favorite project you will find out later.

Sean The best part of 5 th grade is the teacher and family crest with a lot of color or any project that has ART in it ! Also do not forget your homework. You are going to a lot of fun projects ➢ You are going to switch a lot for classes. ➢ Watch out for Mrs. Murnik ’s crystal ball.

Matt Always enjoy your lunch, recess, and gym because those are the most fun classes but there all 30 minutes and shorter. Also watch out for Ms. Murnik ’s crystal ball. DO THE HOMEWORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tierney Never give up, it gets easier and 5 th grade never stops getting better. The teachers are the best thing about 5 th grade. Use homeroom and homework time to your advantage. The less homework the better.

Conor The best part of fifth grade is Ms. Emmerich. She has us read great books like Wonder or Hatchet, gives us fun group projects, (like the kingdom project) and she always comes up with new and fun things to do. She is funny too.

Avery The best part of fifth grade was all the teachers because they make sure they find out kind of who you are, and then make sure they remind you about the stuff that you need work on. The teachers are also really nice and when they know who you are, they make sure you can stay you.

Reese I think the best part of 5 th grade is the teachers because when you first start 5 th grade they help us understand everything very well. Emma A word of advice would be to start AR early! The best part of fifth grade is the teachers. Ms. Emmerich is always having fun projects for the students and Mrs. Murnik is always pushing you to be your best.

Abby My advice is to always to be organized and be ready for class. Always have AR books because you will never know when you have AR time. Keep most of your paper with you because you could review and sometimes use the back of the paper for an assignment.

Alex My advice is stay focused because you have to do AR reading which is 8 points each month. The most fun part about is you have nice teachers and don’t really give you a lot of homework.

Cadel Be ready for lots of cool projects in Science, Reading, and Social Studies.

Talia My advice to you is to get ready for extended math periods and math homework every day. The best part of my fifth grade experience is the projects. There are so many to do and they are so much fun to present. Another important thing in fifth grade is that you do your AR early. It has massive effect on your grade. On a related note, do all your homework not just AR.

Nolan 5 th grade is a good year and the teachers are fun and nice. One thing is don’t forget your books in the other class. It’s ok in the first couple of days but after that try not to. There’s some fun projects we do in both classes. Overall I like 5 th grade a lot and listen to the teachers cause they will give you a lot of information. The teachers will give you a lot of study guides to help you for the year.

Jack The best part fifth grade is there a lot of projects. Most of them are in class and some are at home so it would be more fun. I think all the projects are fun and most of them you have a partner. Actually I think all of them! Advice for fifth grade is to pay attention. If you don’t pay attention it will be really hard to get good grades.

Aly My advice for you is to be ready for lots of homework. Even though we get a lot of homework, there is a lot of good things in fifth grade like all of the fun projects. Just know that all your teachers are there for you. Your friends are too.

Emerson What I would say about 5 th grade, is that always come prepared to class because if you do not come prepared to class they will not let you go all the time. You should also right all your assignments/homework in your assignment notebook. You should also study every time you get to and always carry your AR book. Do not be afraid to ask a question because the teachers are very nice.

Brianna My advice to you is to always do your homework because if you don’t you will regret it. A few things you will like about 5 th grade is all the projects you will get to do.
