If you enforce floodplain management regulations outside of the SFHA, policyholders outside of the SFHA may be eligible for ICC up to $30, 000 to assist them in mitigate their structures. How? Ordinance Language“For those properties located outside of the SFHA, such as zone X, the minimum lowest floor elevation shall meet or exceed each of the following levels: one foot above the nearest adjacent FIRM base flood elevation, one foot above the centerline of the street, and one foot above the nearest upstream or downstream sanitary sewer manhole. ” Visual 320. 20 Visual 430 -20
