I will read you three parts of a pirate story. Put the beginning, middle and end in order. But then their luck changed when the Captain spotted some rocks in the shape of an ‘X’. There it was! They dug and unburied a huge treasure chest! Inside was an enormous pile of sparkling diamonds. “We’ve done it, boys! We are rich!” They took the chest back to the ship and lived as rich men for the rest of their lives. The pirates started searching for the treasure, but the search went on and on. They were hungry. They were tired. They were thirsty. After days without food or water, they had almost given up hope. Once, there were four pirates at sea, huddled around a stolen treasure map. They had been searching for a secret island for three long weeks when at last the Captain spotted it. “Land ahoy!” he shouted and they sailed to the shore.
