Child Development Defined • “Refers to the process through which human beings typically grow and mature from infancy through adulthood” • Each child develops at their own rate. Development takes place from infancy through adulthood

Directions for Child Development Activity • Partner up with a neighbor • Each pair will be given a baggy of different child development milestones • Match up 3 “I can’s” and 3 “ I cant's” for the age group • Each pair will have a chance to match each age group from 3 months – 3 years old • Ask staff to check your answers when you are done Please ask if you need help with the activity
