Outdoor Space • Government had set the rule. - Enough space for free run - Close to nature Build on in the future: • Government should make sure every Kindergarten really have space for children to play. Not just a small space. • Must have plants and shaded space. - make sure children can out and play. • No ciment - so that children are safe when fall • Have an area for sand play • playground materials made by plastic by not wood or metal.
Fire Drill • Able to know the pathway when escape. • Fire extinguisher and exit plan. • Take attendance after practice. Build on in the future: • Practice many times - 1 year can practice more than 3 times, children used to the path. - make sure the function of the fire extinguisher - teacher know how to use. - must clear the pathway always. - training for teacher to handle the emergency case.
Hands on projects • Concrete • Memory • Sensory motor stage • Explore with creative Build on the future: • Safe ( sharp corner must be cover) • Do not limit children thinking & creativity • Invest more materials to let children explore • Allow them to take risk • Self-correcting materials • Open-ended materials • Environment friendly & clean • All the materials must in full set
Indoor • Child- size furniture • Kitchen & class separate Build on the future: • Child level - whiteboard must in child’s eye level • No sharp corner • No slippery floor • Food & indoor space are CLEAN • Quiet area • Keep the carpet for music time
