The student was able to eliminate all outlines in their drawing. The form has a mostly realistic shape and appears 3 -dimensional. There are subtle or partial outlines in the drawing. The form has an unrealistic shape and looks flat. There are thick or dark outlines in the drawing. Use of Cast Shadow The form appears to be sitting on a surface. The form casts a shadow that is varied and accurate with the light source. The shadow has a smooth transition onto the surface, not a hard outline. The form appears to be sitting on a surface. The form casts little shadow or the shadow is inconsistent or unrealistic The shadow has a subtle outline. The form appears to be hovering in space and/or does not cast a shadow at all. Craftsmanship The piece has a clean border, all smudges are erased. All lines and shades are drawn with care. The form is proportionate The pieces appears sloppy or rushed.
