Exercise: Assessment Planning Your Assessment Plan should include: • Indicators that should be calculated • Methodologies for data collection and analysis • Procedures for data processing • Timeline and periodicity of data collection • Role and responsibilities of cluster members • Expected constraints and how to mitigate them Use the Assessment Framework and the Core Nutrition Indicators as guide for your planning.

Key Messages • The Humanitarian Indicators Registry is an important tool that facilitates coordination between nutrition cluster actors and other clusters. • Joint needs assessments will provide an opportunity for collaboration, negotiation, advocacy and compromise.
