Alternatives • A choice limited to one of two possibilities, as of things, propositions, or coursed of action. 2. Characteristics • Pertaining to, constituting, or indicating the character or peculiar quality of a person or thing; typical; distinctive 3. Complaint Decision Making • The choice is made for you by someone else, with your permission. 4. Compromise • Something that combines qualities or elements of different things; to give up something to reach a decision 5. Decision Making Process: • The process of choosing between two or more alternatives or options; most logical way to make a decision. 6. Decision Making Style • The typical manner in which a person makes a decision. 7. Delaying Decision Making • The need for decision making is not recognized or, if recognized, it is put off for some future date. 13. Hunch • A feeling or guess based on intuition rather than known facts, gut feeling, origins cannot be explained by the individual. 14. Impulsive Decision Making • A choice is made without adequately finding alternatives or collecting information about the self and alternatives. 17. Major Decision • Important decision that influences a person’s future such as a career decision. 18. Painful Decision Making • A lot of time and energy are spent, but a choice is not made. 19. Planful Decision Making • A step-by-step process is used to identify alternatives and to choose one. 22. Routine • A series of activities performed regularly. 23. Stability: • The state or quality of being stable 24. Tentative • Something you are unsure or hesitant about, not fully worked out or developed. 26. Trade-off • A balance achieved between two desirable but incompatible features; a compromise.
