272 我們乃是朝聖旅客 Through The Night of Doubt and Sorrow 我們乃是朝聖旅客， 經過疑惑與憂悒； Thro' the night of doubt and sorrow Onward goes the pilgrim band, 手拿拐杖，口唱詩歌， 面向神的應許地。 Singing songs of expectation, Marching to the Promised Land.

白日時候，黑夜時候， 雲柱火柱正引領； Clear before us thro' the darkness, Gleams and burns the guiding Light; 弟兄手握弟兄的手， 一步一步在進行。 Brother clasps the hand of brother, Stepping fearless thro' the night.

（二） 同一位神同在亮光， 照明所有得贖人； One the light of God's own presence O'er His ransomed people shed, 除去疑惑，除去愚妄， 照明我們的疑問。 Chasing far the gloom and terror, Bright'ning all the path we tread;

同一目的在於高天， 同一信心不疲倦， One the object of our journey, One the faith which never tires, 同一定質來看前面， 同一希望得完全。 One the earnest looking forward, One the hope our God inspires.

（三） 同一詩歌千萬嘴唇， 同唱有如只一心； One the strain that lips of thousands Lift as from the heart of one; 同一爭戰同一標準， 同一向神求相親。 One the conflict, one the peril, One the march in God begun;

同一喜樂中的氣氛， 在於永遠的岸前； One the gladness of rejoicing On the far eternal shore, 在彼惟一全能的神， 掌權愛中至永遠。 Where the One Almighty Father Reigns in love for evermore.

（四） 應當前進，旅客弟兄， 前進倚著十字架； Onward, therefore, pilgrim brothers, Onward with the Cross our aid; 忍它羞辱，受它貧窮， 直到休息它蔭下。 Bear its shame, and fight its battle, Till we rest beneath its shake.

不久墳墓都要裂開， 不久死者要醒來， Soon shall come the great awaking, Soon the rending of the tomb; 所有陰影都要失在， 最終生命滿情愛。 Then the scatt'ring of all shadows, And the end of toil and gloom.
