26, 000 celebrated cooperation in 2018 • European Cooperation Day is an annual celebration of cooperation across borders • On 21 September, we invite citizens to see and enjoy the practical results of cooperation projects • In 2018 we reached 26, 000 people at 120 events held in 30 countries
Connecting cities, regions & people • Interact provides knowledge sharing services to support Interreg programmes • Interreg programmes fund projects that embed cooperation and cross borders • Over 100 programmes are funding more than 6, 000 cooperation projects across European borders
Sharing knowledge to tackle climate change • The Climate Change and Risks Network exchanges knowledge, promotes results and best practice on a thematic basis • The network has regular meetings, webinars and joint social media campaigns • The network shares Interreg experiences at EU and UN Climate Change conferences
