257 OH JESUS LORD WHEN THOU ON EARTH

257 哦，主耶穌，當袮在地 OH, JESUS, LORD, WHEN THOU ON EARTH 哦，主耶穌，當袮在地， Oh, Jesus, Lord, when Thou on earth 他們與袮多年同處； Accompanied Thy faithful band, 但是他們對袮自己， It seemed they knew, but knew Thee not, 似識不識，似悟不悟。 Thyself they did not understand.

（二） 他們聽過袮的聲音， They heard Thy voice, beheld Thy form, 他們見過袮的豐姿， Thy beauteous stature unforgot! 他們擠過袮的肉身， They crowded 'round Thee, met Thy gaze, 但袮是誰，似知不知。 But who Thou art, they knew it not.

（三） 我們好像蓋重幔子， As they of old we too are veiled; 彷彿知道，又不透明； We've known Thee long apparently; 說不認識，早已認識， Yet if we say we know, at best 說已認識，認識不清。 We know thee not transparently.

（四） 但袮今已在靈裏面， But in the Spirit now Thou art, 成為另一位保惠師； Another Comforter become; 袮已使我成袮聖殿， Reveal Thy self within my heart, 在我裏面，將袮啟示。 Since to Thy temple Thou hast come.

（五） 但願袮用聖靈充滿 With Thy blest Spirit, Lord, fill me, 在我全人每一角落； Fill every corner of my soul; 沒有一處不受袮感， May Thou inspire my every part, 沒有一處不被袮摸。 Oh may Thou touch, renew the whole.

（六） 求袮自己藉靈顯現， The Spirit then revealing make 加倍實在，在我心懷； Thyself more real within my heart, 無耳所聽，無目所見， That ear not hear, nor eye may see 無手所摸，如此實在。 How very real to me thou art.

（七） 當袮憐憫，肯來啟示， When Thou in mercy dost reveal 將袮自己給了我們， And give thyself in Spirit thus, 世上有誰比袮更實？ What in the world can be more real, 世上有何比袮更真？ More true than what Thou art t us?

（八） 求袮用靈從我的靈， Thy Spirit, Lord, in mine, I pray, 如同洪水漫溢全人 O'erflow my being as a flood, 到處榮耀，到處光明， That every part with glory shine 到處是袮，到處是神。 And everywhere be Thee and God.

（九） 這個生活何等親近！ How close we are in such a life, 袮使我已在地若天： In one is blended earth with heav'n; 讚美滿口，喜樂滿心， Thy presence sweetly fills our souls; 同在滿魂，一切甘甜。 Our hearts are to Thy praises giv'n.
