Consumer rights �Consumers have not always had rights. �Producers of products often paid little attention to safety or quality of products, laws now require to make safety their concern. � a recall is a public request by a manufacturer for the return of the product that may be defective or contaminated.
Assertiveness �To protect yourself and other consumers, be assertive and speak out. �Assertiveness- the means of being firm and positive in starting your position or point of view.
Before a complaint If you wish to make a complaint- (expressing your dissatisfaction with the product or service) never write a nasty letter, review the whole situation and try to resolve it in the simplest manner possible. If the seller cannot help you, make the complaint to the manufacturer.
