IMPACT OF COVID-19 CHALLENGES UNDER COVID • Chicks’ bookings were closed • Pre-school closed thereby reducing income • Lack of finances for land preparations • Lack of finances to buy agricultural inputs • Functions were banned affecting my décor business “Voice and Choice! MITIGATION STRATEGIES • Tilling manually • Half tillage by tractor from a neighbour • Fertilised land through chicken droppings and soil from anthills • Ploughed beans , maize and tobacco • Tried online lessons “Voice and Choice! Empower women, End Violence. ”
FORWARD STRATEGIES ON COVID-19 • WAYFORWARD • To re-open preschool on hot sitting to enable social distancing • To open a second pre – school to boost income • To saw uniforms and masks and sell • To purchase a commercial stand for manufacturing of sanitisers “Voice and Choice!
