2020 Football Equipment Checkout Monday, August 24, 2020 8 th Grade – 5: 45 -6: 30 pm 7 th Grade – 6: 30 -7: 00 pm ***NO ONE WILL GET EQUIPMENT CHECKED OUT TO THEM WITHOUT THE REQUIRED PAPERWORK FILLED OUT AND SIGNED BY A PARENT AND THE ATHLETE*** Both of these forms must be signed and turned in before receiving football equipment and before an athlete can practice. These can be printed out at home or copies are available in the Victory front office, or there will be copies available on August 24 Participation Form Concussion Form
Football First Practice will be Monday August 24, 7: 00 – 8: 30 pm After equipment checkout Tuesday, August 25 – Thursday August 27 Practice will be 7: 00 – 8: 30 pm Beginning Friday, August 28 thru the completion of the season Practice will be 3: 30 – 5: 30 pm We walk off the field by 5: 30 pm, athletes need to be picked up by 5: 45 pm 2020 Football Calendar
Football **Must have 10 practices before an athlete can play in a game versus another school** This may be an issue this season if we are on a yellow school schedule, which is where students physically attend school every other day. The Victory Middle School expectation is as long as you are healthy you need to attend practice. West Ada School District participation fee and ASB fee needs to be paid to the Victory Middle Bookkeeper before an athlete can play versus another school. Can be paid online or in person to the Victory Bookkeeper Pay School Fees Online
Football We will have an A Team and a B Team, provided we have enough players Both teams play on the season day, A Team at 4: 00 pm and B Team 10 minutes after completion of A game.
Practice with COVID Implement safety social distancing measures as outlined by West Ada guidelines. Athletes need to bring their own water bottle or two. School will not provide water bottles this year for games or practices. Hand sanitizer has been ordered but we encourage kids to bring their own. Practice will begin asking team if anyone is feeling sick, has symptoms. If so they will sit out, parents contacted, inform the VMS nurse. Player needs to be symptom free for 3 days to return to school/practice. If confirmed COVID - 14 days out of school.

Transportation to away games will be provided…however parents are allowed to transport their child to away games Masks will be worn on the bus to the away games, and hand sanitizer will be provided upon entry and exit of the bus Spectators: No spectators allowed at practices. If spectators are allowed at games, only parents of players may attend games and must wear a mask. No siblings, grandparents, friends, or other relatives. This is West Ada School District policy. Please social distance from other spectators. Failure to do so may include removal from game and possible discontinuation of the season if frequent violations are present.
