Conclusion • IMPORTANT NOTES TO THE GRADE 12 DESIGN TEACHER • Start working with learners to prepare a photographic presentation of process books and products for each learner in the case of online moderation. A Power Point presentation would be sufficient and manageable for all teachers and schools. • See that social distancing are followed at all times in the design class. This would include e. g. when cleaning equipment, using tools in certain disciplines, putting up exhibition, Paper 2 examination, etc. • With the removal of the mid-year examination, Term 2 test in the second term is part of formal assessment, but will be set by the teacher and be written towards the end of the term. • Refer to the Amended Design PAT 2020 document for all requirements, assessment rubrics, guidelines, etc.
