2020 ANNUAL HOMEOWNERS MEETING November 19, 2020

Ø Due to COVID-19 concerns, the following changes will be implemented Ø The meeting will be a virtual webinar for all homeowners Ø It will be facilitated by Lori Jones, Jordan Price Attorney Community Association Practice Group Ø The meeting time will be from 7: 30 pm to 8: 30 pm on Nov. 19, 2020 Ø Written meeting notices have been sent to all homeowners with a web address for members to individually register for the meeting. THIS IS A MUST IN ORDER TO ATTEND THE MEETING. Ø All members will be muted and only the meeting host can unmute Ø Members will be able to type questions and those will be answered in a timely manner Ø For those persons running for the board position, time will be given to each to address their candidacy. Ø Once the meeting is concluded, 2 days later a ballot will be sent to all Homeowners to vote on the listed items. A stamped/self addressed envelope will be provided. Ø Lets Get Started!!!

BEAZER UPDATE REPORT Ø Ø BEAZER PLANS TO FINISH AVOCET Ø Beazer has a dry pond to complete in the back of phase 5 in order to get final acceptance by the County. This work will commence mid-November and be completed mid-December. The goal is to have County acceptance by year end. Ø Remove any remaining tree protection fence and silt fence on the perimeter of the site during November. NATURE TRAIL COMPLETION Ø Now that the trail is completed, signage will be installed and final cleanup
BEAZER UPDATE REPORT Ø PROCESS TO RE-DEED BEAZER PROPERTIES TO AVOCET HOA Ø Ø UPDATE ON NCDOT TAKING OVER THE ROADS IN NEW SECTION Ø Ø Once the trail is complete we will start the process to deed the final common area to the HOA Scheduling walk with DOT in November with the intention to have them turned over by year end. 2020 ACCOMPLISHMENTS Ø Items Completed Ø Added bridge across the creek Ø Added a dock to the lake Ø Opened & operated the pool with daily cleaning to prevent the spread of Covid-19 Ø Maintained social distancing on all tables, chairs and lounges Ø Completed over 250 ft. of rock channel run off to prevent erosion on nature trail Ø Over 100 trees/shrubs/azalea’s/roses & day lilies planted Ø Cleaned out dead tree growth from the lake Ø Replaced rusted soccer goal poles
2020 ACCOMPLISHMENTS Ø Nature Trail Completed Ø New trails completed from Rex Rd to Fauvette with mulch Ø New trail completed from Fauvette to Rex Rd along the power line Ø New culvert added & leveling on access to trail from Chevalier Ø New trail entrance signs being installed at all points Ø Additional log seats added by the lake and dock Ø Completed over 250 ft. of rock channel run off to prevent erosion on nature trail on Rex & Avera side
