s r e h c a e T e h t t Mee Mrs. Brant My name is Jeannie Brant and I have been teaching for 22 years. Kindergarten should be the most wonderful year a child can have. A good learning experience is built on a cooperative effort between your child, you as a parent/guardian, and the teacher. Education begins the moment we see children as wise and capable beings. Only then can we play along in their world. 4

s r e h c a e T e h t t Mee Ms. Patton-Eilers Hello, my name is Katherine Patton-Eilers. I am so excited to have your student in my class for my fifth year of teaching! I am a proud Pike Township grad. I graduated from Butler University in May 2014, where I received my bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Peace and Conflict Studies. During my time at Butler, I volunteered with my kindergarten teacher in Pike. During this time that I spent in the classroom, I fell in love with teaching and especially kindergarten students. After Butler, I went to IUPUI, and in December 2015, I received my teaching licenses in Elementary Education, Media Specialist, and Reading. I completed my Masters in Elementary Education at IUPUI in August 2017. I love to read, and I watch way too much TV. I also love music and singing. I love Disney and my family and I love to travel, especially to the Disney Parks. I am so excited to be working with your student and I cannot wait for the start of the amazing year we are going to have! 6
