Classwork & Grades To stay up to date on your child’s progress in class or virtually, please be sure to check Power. School regularly and sign agenda’s nightly for face to face students! Homework policy Daily Homework handouts and/or online programs will be given to your child daily. Each homework handout will be expected to be completed that evening and turned in the next morning, unless otherwise noted. Please contact me if your child is unable to complete any homework assignment on any particular evening. It is a classroom expectation that your child is writing down their homework in their agendas every day, including Fridays. Online Homework Your child will be expected to complete 45 minutes of online homework per subject per week. This online homework will be on one of the school-wide websites and logged in through Clever.
Zoom Expectations: 1. Make sure you are dressed appropriately. 2. Please make sure your video is on, but make sure the audio is on mute when entering the live session. 3. Please have your notebook and writing utensils available before entering the live session, in case it is needed. 4. Please no eating while video chatting. Having a bottle of water is okay, but please do not consume food. 5. If you have a question during the live session, send a message within the chat box. A selected student will then notify the teacher that they're is a question for the lesson. There will always be time at the end of the live session for questions and answers. 6. Chat expectations will be to answer questions appropriately. 7. Restroom usage will still be to raise their hand to go during the lesson 8. Students behaviors should be the same virtually as they are expected to be in class
Dress Code All RCSSL Students are required to wear a uniform, even virtual students. Shirts must be tucked in at all times. All jackets must have a RCSSL logo. Students are expected to wear sneakers on PE days and bring water!
