Fundraising Committee NABC Mission Statement: To develop, implement and promote community-based initiatives that exemplify the professionalism and integrity of the collision repair industry. Committee Chair(s): Gerry Poirier, Brandon Eckenrode, Liz Stein Committee Members: Gerry Poirier, Katie Pharr, Clint Marlow, Liz Stein, Darren Huggins, Barry Barbee, Elizabeth Sullivan, Debby Robinson, Keith Egan Committee Mission: To ensure successful fundraising events to support the organizations goals and programs.
2019 Goals and Priorities 2018 Goal(s): Total Goals $208, 900. 00 gross – Actual $231, 563. 00 2019 Goals: $365, 000. 00 gross - actual $300, 599. 00 (original est with five tournaments) • Palm Springs - $126, 705 (inc $17 K budget transfer for reception) • Dallas - $100, 000 - $84, 649 actual • St Louis - $50, 000 - $36, 550 actual • NE - $65, 000 - $52, 695 actual 2020 Goals: $284, 000 gross (three tournaments) • Palm Springs - $120, 000 • Texas - $96, 400 • St Louis - $67, 600
2020 Goals and Priorities & Goals: Tier 1: Palm Springs – Focus on selling this. Packages for the year available. Tier 2: Develop Regional Committees to own the Regional Golf Tournaments. Texas, S t Louis Tier 3: Look in 2021 to tie to industry events if possible. Tier 4: Explore how to establish package golf pricing in conjunction with membership.
Tools and Needs Highlights Tools Being Used: Leveraging our markets and relationships with industry partners. Social media outlets. Much improved golf website and marketing cadence. Tools Needed: Continued increased social media awareness of the brand. Event information posted to web site earlier than in the past. Event website to host more pre and post information. Greatest Need: Continued Teamwork and active involvement by the fundraising committee members, board members and the marketing department. • Need Local Market Champions in each Region to help run the local golf fundraisers • They would be in a position to be able to drive fundraising and participation in the golf tournament on a local level • Would increase revenue by having someone local who can drive results • Would be able to help facilitate pre-golf activities and assist with ensuring that signage, prizes e. t. c. is handled with the committee. • Would report to the NABC Fundraising Committee Greatest challenge to get more people to buy in to NABC: Brand awareness. Provide high level events to showcase what we do. • Need to have activities at golf events that help market and create awareness on the various NABC initiatives that are available for companies to participate in.
2020 Priorities & Goals Tier 1: • Complete roll out of new website, logo implementation and marketing videos including NABC™ overview and video showcasing each NABC™ program • Continue managing brand standards Tier 2: • Further develop synergies between all committees and initiatives on clarity and unity of our brand • The ultimate goal is to gain exposure and engage more members into the program Tier 3: • Maximize exposure to our 25 th anniversary. • Develop branding (will not come up with new logo) Tier 4: • Use industry platforms (CIC/SEMA/CEICA) to bring exposure to NABC™
Needs and Challenges Tools Needed: • Marketing videos including NABC™ overview video and videos showcasing each NABC™ program in progress • Support with electronic, printable brochures where needed for each program • Monthly video from Bill or board to members Working with Program chairs to define needs • Realtime tools for more relevant communication through all programs • Updated materials with new logos Greatest Need: • Multi-media website with engaging, modern design and capabilities for easy updates, forms, payments in progress • Marketing committee to own website in progress • Working through updates in limiting platform Greatest Challenge to Get More People to Support NABC: • Reinforce the value and benefits of participating by showcasing sponsors and members in media coverage and industry channels • Identify new opportunities for local and national recognition for NABC supporters • Using the same resources
