What are our key priorities for 2017 -18 • Continue to ensure all year groups receive in excess of 2 hours PE and school sport time each week. • Develop the outdoor space with lines and features for use at break times and during lessons. • Repair the school goalposts • Extend the range of extra-curricular activities through Premier Sport • Continue to track the number of pupils taking part in school sports (interschool and clubs) and use this data to target children not taking part. Do this at class teacher level using the pro forma (see next slide). • Extend the range of competitions available for year 3 and 4 pupils through the Premier Sport offer and federation competitions. • Target Year 5 pupils to partake in inter-school competition. • Continue the Mini-Leader programme again this year and extend. • Identify gifted and talented pupils throughout the school. • Signpost organisations to develop and extend G&T provision. • Track the involvement of disadvantaged pupils in inter-school and extracurricular sport.
