HOW A REGISTERED APPRENTICESHIP WORKS? • Job seeker receives on-the-job training from an assigned

HOW A REGISTERED APPRENTICESHIP WORKS? • Job seeker receives on-the-job training from an assigned mentor. • In addition, job seeker receive related instruction, technical training or other certified training. • Job seeker receives a paycheck from the employer. • As job seeker’s skills increase, so does the pay. • Upon completion, the job seeker receives an industry-issued, nationally-recognized credential that certifies their skills.

REFERRAL PROCESS • Passport to Referral form: Candidates who are “apprenticeship ready” • Form gets sent to the Recruitment & Placement (R&P) Team, RA Program Coordinator, and IVRS Business Service Manager • R&P Team and IVRS Business Service Team should contact the RA sponsor together to discuss training benefits • Share resume and Passport to Referral form with RA Sponsor • R&P Team and IVRS Business Service Team contact RA Sponsor to confirm if job seeker is hired • Result Job order in IWORKS to confirm if the job seeker was hired or not hired. Add apprentice id number to a sticky note. • Share success stories!
