COACHES JUNIOR VARSITY: Allison Prater – Head Coach • Graduated from FHS in 2015 • 4 year school cheerleader VARSITY: Eula Walker – Sponsor • • FHS employee since 1995 • 3 rd year coaching at FHS • Currently attending FSU and is a double major in Studio Art and Family & Child Sciences Currently the Admin Support Assistant • Currently an after school counselor at Gilchrist Elementary School 19 th year coaching at FHS MIDDLE SCHOOL: AACCA Safety Certified Joanna Walker – Head Coach • FHS 13 year club member – graduated in 2009 • 7 year school cheerleader, 3 year all-star competitive cheerleader, 1 year college cheerleader • 6 th year coaching at FHS • U. S. COST • Estimated detailed cost sheet is in tryout packet • MS & JV: $467. 00 • Includes practice wear, game day wear, summer camp, and bag • Camp deposit is due May 31 st • MS/JV - $95. 00 • Varsity - $115. 00 • Varsity: $776. 00 • Includes practice wear, game day wear, summer camp, bag, warm ups • Practice wear and camp fees are due in full by June 28 th. • If a cheerleader already has some of the items from the previous year, you are not required to purchase those items. Please get approval from Coach Walker first.

TRYOUTS Tryout Requirements & Reminders Tryout Dates: Tuesday-Thursday, April 17 -19, 3: 30 -5: 30 in the gym Dress Requirements for Tryouts: • Tuesday & Wednesday: Appropriate athletic clothes in any color (t-shirt or tank top with shorts); cheer shoes or tennis shoes; NO jewelry; hair in neat ponytail and out of face; hair bow is optional • Thursday: Solid white t-shirt or tank top, black shorts; cheer shoes or tennis shoes; NO jewelry; hair in neat ponytail and out of face; black or white hair bow is optional • Must have EL 3 forms and EL 2 Physical form completed • You must attend all days and you may not arrive late or leave early. You will be evaluated each day. • All students must have a cumulative 2. 0 GPA to be eligible to tryout. • Try outs are closed. No parents, family, or friends are permitted to observe tryouts. • Grade level does not determine what team you will be placed on. • If selected for Varsity, competition is NOT optional. • Tumbling is not mandatory to make a team. • Being a cheerleader the previous year in no way guarantees placement on the squad for the following year. • Final decisions of teams will be made by the coaches. • Teams will be posted on FHS Cheer website, Instagram, and Twitter on the evening of Sunday, April 22 nd.
