Rockin’ on the Housetop Christmas Eve I hit the bed by eight. I saw no need for Santa to be late. I was fine, but after nine, My pumpin’ heart began to palpitate. I woke up in the middle of the night. The stars were out, the moon was shinin’ bright. Got up quick, got up quick, To see Saint Nick, to see Saint Nick, I heard a sound that gave me such delight.
