ANTICIPATED COSTS AND PAYMENTS Total Cost: $923 Breakdown: Camp: $150 Uniform & apparel (approx. ): 773 Due dates and amounts: April 12 th – First installment $461. 50 May 12 th – Second installment $461. 50 (Minus fundraising earnings)

Fundraising Yankee Candle Fundraiser (March 13 -April 3) 40% profit margin ($10 profit for every $25 jar sold) March 13 th – April 3 rd Orders back in 21 days (Before Mother’s day!) Coupon Books? ? ? (April 4 -April 18) $30 per book (REALLY good deals!) 50% profit margin! (cheerleader gets $15 per book sold) Each girl starts off with 5 books, an order form and a flyer. You sell the books on the spot. If you sell more than 5, you can get more books within 2 days. Most middle school cheerleaders sell between 7 -10 books for profit total of ($105 -$150) All fundraising money earned is deducted from last installment payment.

CAMP Camp @ H. O. T. Day 1 – 10 am-2 pm Day 2 -4 – 9 am-3 pm Cheerleaders are responsible for their snacks and lunch. Camp clothes and uniform will be worn at camp.

Be practicing! Summer camp will be INTENSE! You will be expected to have all of your pep squad cheers PERFECTED BEFORE the first day of camp. The first day of camp will be used to learn NEW cheers. You will learn a total of 48+ cheers. �Of those 48, you should already know 20 from pep squad. �Monday must be used to teach the 28 cheers you do not know. No time will be used to reteach the pep squad cheers. The remaining 3 days will be used primarily for stunting, jumps and other like skills.

Be stretching, and practicing your jumps and tumbling! The freshmen team has been eliminated at the HS so the competition is higher, as you will be competing against sophomores for 10 JV spots next spring. Jumps and tumbling takes months/years to learn and perfect. Practicing over the summer is essential! Classes and clinics at local cheer gyms are HIGHLY recommended. (H. O. T. Cheer and Dance, Texas Dynasty) Skills to practice: motion technique, voice projection, jumps, and tumbling).

Be sure to watch your grades. Cheer follows U. I. L. rules. Do not fail any 6 week grading period in any class! Do not get into trouble! You are now officially a cheerleader and you are now following the MMS Cheer Constitution and the Extracurricular Discipline Management Plan. Any infractions will result in consequences.
