Legislation • Senate Bill 5 (2015) – Circuit court case that determined § 479.

Legislation • Senate Bill 5 (2015) – Circuit court case that determined § 479. 359. 2 (12. 5 % for St. Louis area municipalities) and § 479. 359. 3 (addendum for excess revenue) are unconstitutional has been appealed and is pending – Case number is SC 95624 • Senate Bill 572 (2016) – – Notice required to property owner for nuisance violations Cannot serve as Municipal Judge in more than five municipalities Fine/costs cannot exceed more than $225 for minor traffic violations Fine/costs for municipal ordinance violations, as defined in § 479. 350 RSMo, committed within a 12 -month period cannot exceed the following: • 1 st violation - $200; 2 nd violation - $275; 3 rd violation - $350; 4 th and subsequent violation - $450
