Significant Changes Based on student, parent, teacher, and administrator feedback several significant changes have been made to the grading guidelines for the 2015 -2016 school year. Students and parents are encouraged to take some time to review the grading guidelines to make sure they understand the new procedures. Exam Exemptions Semester Exam Exemptions Everyone tests in the fall. Spring, depends on your “big test” 1. Students taking EOC exams may be exempt from that course semester final 2. Students enrolled in AP courses AND participate in the AP exam may be exempt from that course semester final. These are the ONLY semester exam exemptions. Students who take EOC and AP exams will have an alternative assignment to replace the exam AND will be provided an opportunity to take the exam to improve their semester grade.
