Goal: READING Goals that are evaluated using the FCAT or EOC will be marked “no” at Mid-Year Response Has the goal been achieved? ☐ If yes, what evidence do you see to indicate you have achieved the goal? ☒ If no, is desired progress being made to accomplish the goal? ☒ If yes, what evidence do you see to indicate desired progress has been made to accomplish the goal? ☐ If no, have the originally targeted barriers been eliminated or reduced? Goal: READING Response Evidence Has the goal been achieved? ☐ If yes, what evidence do you see to indicate you have achieved the goal? ☒ If no, is desired progress being made to accomplish the goal? ☒ If yes, what evidence do you see to indicate desired progress has been made to accomplish the goal? ☐ If no, have the originally targeted barriers been eliminated or reduced? Compare the percent proficient on the Fall Interim to the percent proficient on the Winter Interim
☐ Ifyes, what evidence do you see to indicate desired progress has been made to accomplish the goal? ☒ Ifno, have the originally targeted barriers been eliminated or reduced? If you do not see evidence of movement toward the goal, mark “no” and move to the next response 14
☐ If yes, what evidence do you see to indicate barriers have been eliminated or reduced? ☐ Ifno, are the original strategies being implemented with fidelity as designed? If yes, re-engage the problem solving process at Step 4, making edits as needed to strategies in your SIP. ☐ If no, engage in a problem solving process around implementation fidelity of the original plan, and make edits as needed to your SIP ☐ Address two to three barriers, not all. Look for evidence that shows that progress is being made by the group that is addressed in the barrier – you may need to look at your Thinkgate data reports

Compare the percent satisfactory on the Fall Interim to the percent satisfactory on the Winter Interim to provide evidence for progress toward achieving a goal…
To provide evidence for goals that are not evaluated using the FCAT or the EOC, review Step 8 of your SIP, “Monitor Goal Progress”, and determine appropriate data to examine.
For example, Step 8 for the STEM goal may refer to increasing participation in the Science Fair, which has already taken place. If you met your goal of increasing participation in the Science Fair, you will mark that goal “yes”, and provide the evidence you have gathered showing an increase in the number of students that participated in the science fair.
If you did not achieve your goal, or have additional actions in your goal, you may wish to revisit and update your SIP to reflect what you are going to do to achieve the goal.
