Conclusions and Recommendations While digital archival efforts have been ongoing for many years now, and their massive accomplishments can be readily appreciated from the objective evidence available, we are still yet to witness the full potential of their used in practical applications, which is most regrettable! This study takes as its primary case the author’s “weaving the strands of thread-applications and community outreach efforts for the Digital embroidery archives” project funded by a 2009 one year grant from the national science Council is part of the NDAP, relying on roving community events to provide practical outreach to the community from digital archival contents, while using development and promotion of the lesson plans (for the DIY embroidery arts kits ), along with expansion of the creative arts and arts activities, to realize practical applications from the original digital archival media deployed into appropriate community networks, ensuring the reach of the Digital network extends way beyond the wired community as it empowers the entire broader society. 3/19/2011 ACT Media Lab 44
