ECall ™ 200 Series emergency-call system is designed for multi-family dwellings housing the elderly, or handicapped, assisted living residences, independent living facilities, or for other emergency-call/panic type applications. Any resident requiring emergency assistance can signal the building manager, security guard and/or neighbors by activating a conveniently located pull-cord/push-button switch in each apartment or remote signaling location. Alert devices can be wired (2 -wire or 4 -wire loop), wireless or both! ECall™ 200 series systems for two (2) different reasons. . . (1) to 'repeat' the 900 MHz signals from the various wireless devices on the system, enabling longer range activations and (2) as a 'locator' to assist in locating wireless calls on the system by using the 'fingerprinting' method. Multiple WNC 511 repeater/locators are required per system that have these requirements, and the actual quantity is determined by the use of the WSK 500 site survey kit. Unlike most LED type corridor lights, the CDL 101 LED can operate on 24 VAC or 24 VDC, and not just 24 VDC. Wired Emergency calls are indicated by the rapid flashing of the CDL 101 LED corridor dome light associated with the calling station. Normal (routine) calls produce a steady illumination.
