Proper Use Taking Legal Oaths ®In legal papers ®File your taxes ®In a court of law ®Perjury is the penalty for breaking this promise

The Penalty ® Not be guiltless ® With guilt comes punishment ® The purpose of discipline is to bring repentance ® The purpose of repentance is to restore fellowship

Conclusion ® We must reverence and respect the name of God ® We must show reverence for all that is holy and sacred ® We must not abuse God’s name. ® It is a stupid thing to treat the name of God carelessly.
