Submission Checklist � 11 Section 8 Submission Checklist The checklist is provided for Respondent's convenience only and identifies documents that must be submitted with this Solicitation in order to be considered responsive. Any Solicitation Response received without these requisite documents may be deemed nonresponsive and may not be considered for contract award.
HDIS Department The Health, Developmental and Independence Services Department (HDIS) is comprised of 38 programs that are focused on positively impacting individuals and families through quality health services. The Alternatives to Abortion program is administered at the HDIS Department level. 12
Alternatives to Abortion A 2 A began in 2006 as a statewide program promoting childbirth and providing support services to pregnant women and adoptive parents. Program received an additional $20 million during the 85 th Legislative Session. 13
Alternatives to Abortion 14 HHSC is seeking qualified entities to provide A 2 A services to eligible individuals for the State of Texas. The term of the contract will be from March 1, 2018 to August 31, 2019. The A 2 A program is funded at $38, 300, 000 for the biennium.
Alternatives to Abortion 15 Article 2, the Scope of Grant Award, specifies key areas of the A 2 A program, including expansion of services, Applicant eligibility, scope and client service requirements. Section 2. 6 describes the Applicant Background and Project Work Plan forms to be completed according to Forms G-G 2 and H – K-1. The Project Work Plan will provide a narrative of how the Applicant will accomplish the goals and milestones of the program.
Alternatives to Abortion 16 Section 2. 7 describes the monthly and annual reporting required to be included with invoices. Section 2. 8 describes the budget forms required for completion as well as how payments and invoicing are structured. The performance of the contract will be closely monitored and Applicants should be aware of the prohibitions, standards, and the no guarantee of volume, usage or compensation clauses.
