1 Remember Who You Are Recordar quin eres
#1 Remember Who You Are
• Recordar quién eres.
• We are saved by the work of Christ and not by our performance. • We need to remember that we are “a chosen people. ”
1 Peter 2: 9 • You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.
#2 Claim Your Freedom
• Reclamar su libertad.
#3 Follow the Spirit in ALL of Life.
• Siga el espíritu de toda la vida.
TIM KELLER • “with the help of the Holy Spirit, adoring Him until our hearts find Him more beautiful than the object we felt we had to have. ”
• There are several guidelines for following the Spirit in all of life.
• 1) Do what the Bible says. • 2) Be willing to walk through open doors. • 3) Be willing to say “No” to lesser things.
#4 Carefully Guard Your Heart
• Guardan celosamente su corazón.
John 17: 20 -23
• We can’t successfully walk with Jesus if we won’t walk with each other.
• Think about this QUESTION! Now that we have spiritual life, how can we daily spiritually live?
• How can knowing your identity as alive in Christ empower you to fight against your sin?
• How do you think it is possible for a Christian to become conceited about their spirituality?
• How can we be better aware of the pitfalls of conceitedness, provoking others to anger, and being envious?
• Surrender yourself to God, and ask Him to help you walk in the Spirit.
