TELEDERMPHOTOINSTRUCTIONS PROCEDURE FOR MANAGEMENT OF ROUTINE ESTABLISHED OUTPATIENT VISITS **The decision to send patients to the ED should not be made lightly and must be reviewed with the consult team first** 3 Visit Not Needed • Simple questions and refill requests not requiring a visit NO • Provider or staff manages request per usual protocol 4 Dermatology Visit Needed • Forward to PSRs to create a Telemed encounter (3592)** YES • Forward to nurse pool if MPM signup / photos needed • Teledermatology conducted by provider via phone / MPM **Appears on provider schedule but can be performed when convenient • • Teledermatology Visit Obtain and document verbal consent. TELEDERMCONSENT Conduct visit and provide recommendations Document using template. DERMCOVIDTELEVISIT Bill as usual and note time spent; add GTX modifider In-Person Evaluation Needed • Discuss with site medical director for approval • Coordinated by clinic manager *Telederm via store-and-forward (not video) is expected to be the standard way of providing follow-up dermatology care at this time, as opposed to no-charge MPM advice or in-person evaluation
