1) Michael’s New House The first main part of the book and movie is when Michael’s parents buy a new house and they move in. It is old and run down, and it has an old crumbling garage that is about to fall down.

2) Mina Meets Michael This is one of the most important relationships in the whole story, they meet when Mina is reading high up in a tree and Michael walks past and doesn’t even notice her. Mina and Michael form a firm friendship and experience many good times together.

3) Michael Finds Skellig When Michael finds Skellig hidden at the back of the garage they become the main characters of the book, they are both involved in most scenes (in the movie).

4) Michael feeds Skellig – The First Time Skellig informs Michael that he likes to eat ‘ 27 and 53’ Michael gets some and brings the left overs to him. This happens many times throughout the book and movie. Skellig also asks for ginger beer and Michael brings him some of that too.

5) Michael Visits The Hospital During the book Joy (Michael’s sister) is in hospital a lot, this is the first time that she is there. While Michael's parents are cooing over Joy Michael goes for a walk, he meets and old lady named Grace and they chat for a while.

6) Joy Comes Home As said in the previous slide, Joy was in hospital for most of the book. This was the first time she came home before she got rushed back to hospital.

7) Skellig Goes To The Danger-house This is another key part to the story that Mina and Michael are both involved in. Mina had inherited this old house from her grandfather. She helps Michael take Skellig there when Michael’s dad is going to knock down the old garage.

9) Skellig Changes And Flies Away After Mina and Michael move Skellig to the dangerhouse his wing slowly start to get better. In the end Skellig changes and flies away but not before he has said one final goodbye to Mina and Michael.
